Runner Amenities

Professional Timing: Simmco Data Systems will provide professional timing services.

Water: Water will be provided at the start, finish, and multiple stations along the race course.

Port-A-Johns: Port-a-Johns will be provided at the start, finish, and locations along the race course.

Medical: Medical stations will be at the start and finish area and multiple locations along the race course. Bike and gator medics will be patrolling the course.

Garment Check: A tent will be provided, for runners only, to check personal belongings, such as, small bags, keys, clothing, etc. No valuables or backpacks. All items must be placed in a clear bag that will be provided at packet pick-up. Runners assume all responsibility for items checked. The Navy-Air Force Half Marathon is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. 

Post-Race Food & Beverage: Post-race food and beverage will be available for runners only after the race.

Event Shirt: All registrants will receive their complimentary event shirt when they pick-up their packet. Shirt size must be indicated when registering for the race.

Training Shirts: During registration, runners will have the option to purchase an event training shirt. These shirts will be mailed to you within 2-3 weeks after placing your order.

Race Packets: Closer to the event, runners will be emailed a virtual packet full of promotions from event sponsors. At packet pick-up each runner will receive a race packet which will include their bib number, B-tag, safety pins, race information, and sponsor items.

Finisher’s Award: All runners will receive a finisher medal after they finish the race.

Race Photos: Finisher Pix is the Official Photographer for capturing your exciting moments at the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon and Navy 5-Miler. Runner photos will be taken along the course by professional photographers. Bib numbers must be worn on your chest so that you can be identifies in the photos. Runners will be notified 24-48 hours after the event by email when pictures are ready to be viewed.

SAG Vehicle:  A SAG (Support and Gear) vehicle will follow the last runner. If you do not arrive at mile 12 by 10:30 a.m. you will be asked to board the SAG bus. Once on board, you may not get off the SAG bus to continue on the course.  The SAG bus will transport runners on board to the finish line. Runners who choose not to be picked up are responsible for their own safety and must follow rules-of-the-road.
